Technology may be getting better and better, but the interfaces that users have to deal with can still be incredibly difficult. Many times we are faced with devices and interfaces where we feel only an engineer could figure out how to use it. The truth is that any device and interface can be made easy and intuitive for all users.
I seek to create simple, easy, and intuitive interfaces so that people can use technology to its utmost degree. I seek to create interfaces that are so natural for people to use that people don't even realize how complex the technology is that they are using.
To create interfaces that are easy for users yet can handle the complexity of the technology requires a thorough process. From doing literature and background research to developing cognitive models and prototypes to user testing and developing a final interface.
